Building a movement
in financial education
We believe that access to financial knowledge is a civil right — not a privilege. T.A.T Foundation was built to change who has access to that knowledge, and when they get it.
Where it started,
and where we're headed
T.A.T Foundation grew from a simple but urgent observation: the students who needed financial literacy the most were the least likely to receive it.
Founded in Duluth, Georgia, The Awesome Team Foundation began with a commitment to close the gap between what schools teach and what families actually need to know to thrive financially. What started as small community workshops quickly grew into a structured nonprofit with programs reaching hundreds of students, families, and educators across the region.
Today, T.A.T Foundation operates four core programs — each designed for a specific audience and delivered by educators, coaches, and financial experts who are invested in the communities they serve. Every curriculum, every workshop, and every coaching session is built around one principle: real knowledge creates real change.
We are not a collection of events. We are an institution — one that measures its success in the financial decisions students make five years from now, in the scholarships that get claimed, in the debt that doesn't get accumulated.
The founder's vision
"Financial literacy isn't just about money — it's about power. When a student understands compound interest, when a family knows how to navigate the FAFSA, when a young entrepreneur can read a balance sheet — that's power. And that power doesn't expire. We're not teaching classes. We're changing trajectories."

To bridge educational gaps through financial empowerment
We deliver impactful programs in financial literacy, college readiness, and leadership to students and families who need it most — meeting communities where they are, and equipping them for where they want to go.
